CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS
The Celebration of Lights is our annual fundraiser, and this year it will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at First United Methodist Church. While much of our greenery and event materials are donated by volunteers, direct donations for this event allow us to purchase luminary bags, lights, and sand, and to help pay the electricity costs associated with lighting the fellowship hall during the event. The balance will be applied to the purchase of prescription medicine for our clients.
You may order luminaries using this form. 100% of the proceeds of luminary sales goes to the purchase of prescription medicine for our clients.
NC MED ASSIST
Our membership in this stateside non-profit pharmacy is how we access many of the prescriptions we dispense in Chatham County.
HAVE A HEART
Our pharmacy supports chronic health concerns like high blood pressure, diabetes, and mental health disorders. Donations to the Have A Heart Program will be directly applied to prescriptions that deal with heart disease, blood pressure, and stress. 100% of your donation to this program will go toward dispensing heart-related prescriptions.
KNOCK OUT DIABETES
According to the CDC, 34.2 million Americans have diabetes – that’s roughly 1 in 10 people. In Chatham County, 12% of our community is living with diabetes, and it greatly affects the uninsured and underinsured in our community. 100% of your donation to this program will go toward dispensing diabetes prescriptions
PATHFINDER PROGRAM
According to Johns Hopkins, about 26% of Americans ages 18 and older – which is roughly 1 in 4 adults — suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder annually, and it greatly affects the uninsured and underinsured in our community. 100% of your donation to this program will go toward dispensing mental health prescriptions
